Ramzan is the month of Blessings from Allah and not to merely have Starvation. If this is so then the month would never have been called to get “Godsend”- This is the month to live Experimenting assigned by Allah through Fasting but not to fall asleep objectively to pass the fasting time.

Muslims during the Roza (fast) in the month Ramadan can be commonly witnessed to fall asleep very nearly all day. Of course, there are exceptions for the working people and others who cannot afford this but this has become the trend in this day and age. In consequence, going off to sleep more or less half the day is the preeminent way to pass or kill most of the time and then stir to get ready for Namaz (Prayer) and Iftar.

Astoundingly, not voluminous but many people go on vacations from business or job to have personal time for Ramadan. It is due to the intention that they do not wish to have the burden of workload. But, a poor cannot go for a vacation or even have a relaxation time after work. The Roza (Fast) of poor and rich is so much different even at the same place.

Since childhood, I have observed my mother whose routine remains the same even during the fast. She is much devoted to the Islamic Religion and tries to Obey every Fard. She cleans the house, she cooks for the rest who are not fasting, she distributes food with poor, she gives time to nephew, she makes tea whenever asked and she recites Quran almost all the free time in a day.

For my part, I cannot visualize myself having a fast and working like this. She is not a laborer or a maid. One of the surprising things is that my mother is a bit strict and does not like to have a mess around the kitchen. Thus, she cooks iftar herself and guesses what she cooks for all.

I have been observing my friends and other people who use to fall asleep almost more than half of the Fasting Time. Instead, the real essence of Ramadan is to fight the inner evil and feel the hunger of the poor to feed them. Fasting is not about passing the time and getting ready to eat but to realize the pain of a poor and to overcome the evil deeds done intentionally or unintentionally.

Ramzan is the month of blessings-

This is the time where Allah is witnessing the Muslims go for fasting.

How can one get Blessing while sleeping too,

-Not to feel Hunger and Thrust

-Not to Fight with Inner Evil

-Not to realize the condition of people who face malnutrition

-Not to Remember Allah

In short, it has become the trend to fall asleep and forget Roza (Fast)and the related experimenting from Allah!

Allah is certainly observing the Muslim (Real Momin) who is on a fast and is ready to feel the Hunger and thrust while maintaining the same working routine with prayers. In my case, I have observed my mother and sister in this condition. There must be thousands and thousands of further examples that can encourage people to understand the real meaning of Roza (Fasting). These are getting the blessings from Allah in a real sense.

Let’s understand the real soul of Roza (Fasting). Let’s not make it a modern trend of just killing the time and having a dinning in the evening. Let’s connect with Allah (GOD) to get Blessings while not forgetting the Fast but living it.

How You Spend Your Roza (Fast)? Must Share :)
